Been meaning to write this. Look no further ….THESE are your guys!! I had talked to the owner and he assisted me on the phone. Took care of my issue by phone. Put my mind at ease. Talked me out of a black dog treatment I thought I needed….unbelievable.Called the company again for another issue raccoon on my roof every night at 3 am. Zach was exceptional no pressure kindest gentleman. Took time looking over my roof. Took time explaining the process. But It was THE WAY he explained everything…put my mind at ease.Talked me out of a black dog treatment then I insisted. It took a little time and I kept seeing Zach’s footprints in the snow as he came to my house. Cannot say enough about Zach, this company and will continue to use. Reasonable. Trustworthy. will not have you purchase treatments you do not need. ~ Christine N

The technician arrived right on time, explained the process clearly, and was very thorough in inspecting and treating the problem areas. Excellent experience!! I contacted them because we get spider infestations every few years. Got a text back, as requested, very quickly. They were flexible with scheduling, answered all my questions, and arrived promptly. I got their location mixed up, but even though I'm all the way on the east side he had no problems coming out. Really nice of them!! Very professional, very helpful - extremely respectful of the house. AND - super important for us - when he came out he asked about pets to make sure that everything would be okay with them. We have 2 dogs who will eat anything, so the fact that he asked right away was awesome. The treatment was very safe, but I really appreciated that consideration. Did a great job and spiders are no longer falling on me whenever I open a door. Definitely one of the better experiences I've had with any home service - highly recommend!! ~ Karin S

We've had a collection of some nasty bugs this year; ants coming into our home more and more, and 3 hornet/wasp nests in our siding that were becoming unsafe and getting out of control. I corresponded with Mat via email and was quoted a fair price to take care of all issues. Zach came out, who was a pleasure to talk with as well, and within an hour or so took care of all the issues. Several days later, not a single bug. Will certainly use them again if the need arises. Kind of like insurance; hope you don't need it, but when you do, it's good to have. I can’t say enough good things about this yellowjacket nest removal service. What started as an outdoor nest quickly turned into a nightmare when the yellowjackets somehow made their way into the house—I started hearing them inside the walls and saw them flying around the living room. It was terrifying, having them in the home. I called for help and got a fast response. The technician arrived the same day, assessed the situation thoroughly, and immediately found where the nest was located outside and inside. They took all the necessary safety precautions and handled the situation with calm professionalism. If you're dealing with yellowjackets—especially if they’re making it inside your home—don’t wait. I’ve used many pest companies throughout the years mainly due to bees out on the deck and around the house. The majority of the time other companies do an ok job, except when there’s an issue with an errant nest or missed areas and the bees returning. That’s when you need a company that will respond when you call, and handle the situation quickly (especially with events at the house with family and friends coming over.) I switched to Black Dog about three years ago and have had excellent service since. They’re familiar with my house and deck and have been very thorough and professional. Most importantly though when we’ve had any issues in between treatments they’ve responded promptly and followed up immediately…… it’s very rare to find this type of personal interest in customer service these days, and I’m lucky to have found this company. ~ Suzie H

I can’t say enough good things about Black Dog Pest Control company!! They were able to get someone out next day to deal with our wasp issue. I’m severely allergic (had streaking edema and double calf size after one episode), and have been afraid to prune my marigolds by the nest. Ryan, their technician, was super friendly and honest. He did a perimeter sweep to check for more wasps and explained how his service worked. You could tell instantly after he sprayed that the wasps were feeling it! We’ve had a positive experience overall with this pest control company, especially thanks to our technician, Walt. He is extremely responsive, professional, and genuinely helpful. Whenever we’ve reached out, he has been quick to reply and willing to come out to address concerns, even for issues beyond our original service call. While our mice problem has unfortunately not been fully resolved yet, it’s clear that Walt has tried every reasonable approach and has made a sincere effort to help us. Recently we heard some scratching so we called Black Dog regarding rodent services (traps, house sealed, etc.). When they came out an inspection was performed and no signs of activity were found inside. The house looked fairly sealed up aside from a small spot in some broken siding (which was a likely spot for chipmunks). This being the case we were informed that the rodent service would be an unnecessary expense. The small spot in the siding was sealed up free of charge and they wished us a good day. We haven't noticed the noise since. We had already resolved and were happy to pay for a proactive solution and would not have questioned in the slightest whether or not it was necessary. It's rare to find caring and honest people these days and I can say with certainty that if and when the need arises Black Dog Pest Solutions will be the call that we make. Whenever your people come the spiders are gone and insects are gone! Anything we see hours later is dead. A few weeks afterwards we notice that we haven’t seen a single insect inside our house. Ryan is very professional and flexible with scheduling. I got the days mixed up and he still came over today. My exact household needs were targeted by the service provided and each person is punctual, and sincere about wanting to help with what the issue is. I recently found I had a yellow jacket problem after getting repeatedly stung doing yard work. I called Black Dog pest solutions on a Friday afternoon and they scheduled me for first thing at 8 AM on Monday morning. They even said they’d be able to come out sooner if it was an emergency. Gerald was prompt, professional, and let me know to wait a couple of days and to give them a call if any returned & they’d be back out to spray again. The cost was also very reasonable. $195+ tax vs. Orkin’s quote of $327. I’m very happy with the service I received & will use them again if I ever need them. ~ Julie W

Black Dog is a wonderful pest control company. My technician, Walt, is friendly, courteous & professional. He has treated my home for ants, and once treated, the problem is quickly resolved. You will get timely service & great results with Black Dog Pest Control. Pesky ants returned in the bathroom a few weeks later, and Walt came back the day after I called. Gerald is a professional, well versed, knowledgeable gentleman. He made it his fiduciary duty to take his time and explain in detail what he was going to do about the hornets, what to expect and how long the process would take to get rid of them. MAD DOG didn’t come out to do the job. However, I was blessed to have Gerald to take his place. Had an amazing experience with black dog pest solutions. Had a bee problem on the side of my house which needed removed. I'm allergic so I had to find somebody to come and remove it for me. I came across black dog since they are local and from the time I messaged for a quote to the time they came out it was literally less than 45mins. Walt did an amazing job, was very thorough and explained everything amazingly. I would definitely use them again and refer them to anybody who has any pest needs. ~ Brian B

I could not recommend this company more! We had Walt come out and look into our carpenter ant problem. We previously had two other pest companies come out and try to take care of the problem but neither were successful, and put in the minimum effort. When Walt came out, he went above and beyond and they were mostly gone after the first visit. We also ended up having some mice and Walt came right out and helped with that problem as well. ~ Thomas K

Black dog was the first to return my call on a Saturday. Yellow jackets had built a nest in my house and were coming inside. He spent a good amount of time talking through my options for managing the situation, regardless of me hiring him, which I appreciated. We weren’t successful in treating it ourselves, so Ryan the tech came out first thing on Monday, took 15 mins, and all the yellow jackets were dead by Wednesday. Thanks yall. ~ Christine C

New customer to Black Dog Pest Solutions. Previously had Terminix. Switched to Black Dog due to Terminix inability to get rid of a yellow jacket nest, 4 treatments later still an active nest. Call Black Dog, they sent Zach out, he sprayed the nest and no more yellow jackets. I now use them as my pest control company. I was serviced today by Gerald. He has performed routine quarterly service many times at my house and I love his work. Living near woods and a river, I have to deal with ants, bees, spiders, and one annoying woodpecker. I had an issue with an incredibly destructive and noisy family of squirrels nesting and tunneling in the soffits and façade paneling of my house. They were active all day long, and as I work from my home office, they were incredibly loud and distracting. I had previously received a quote from another (large national chain) company that I suspected was beyond excessive. Thank goodness I reached out to Mat at Black Dog. He came out and gave us a free quote that was extremely fair for the work required. He installed one-way doors at the entrance and exit points of the affected area so that the squirrels could get out but not back in. He also installed a protective screen covering over the attic ceiling vent opening to prevent them trying to get inside that way. About a week later he came back out to repair and seal off all holes with wire mesh and sheet metal flashing. Throughout the entire process, Mat was friendly and super professional. It is such a relief to have peace and quiet in my home once again! I am beyond pleased with the services received and can heartily recommend Black Dog Pest Solutions to anyone in need. ~ Christopher C

Extremely Responsive, accurate and very thorough. He took the time to walk us through everything that he was going to do to remedy the situation with the Raccoons in our attic.
